Fire: Aurum 1

Like gold, which is refined by fire,

Aurum displays the growth that follows the flame.

Named for the element for gold, this life-sized

sculpture was created for an 08 exhibition

called Fire. Aurum was based on a watercolor

drawing (shown on rear wall) titled

"Refined by Fire."

Scupture in plaster, copper wire & natural materials.
